Surveying Specialist
As a Surveying Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data related to land, buildings, and other structures. Your primary duty will be to use specialized equipment and techniques to accurately measure and map out various locations. You will work closely with engineers and architects to provide precise measurements for construction projects. In addition, you may also be required to analyze data and create reports based on your findings. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent mathematical skills, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and drones
- Collect data on land features, boundaries, structures, and other relevant information
- Use computer software to process data and create detailed maps and reports
- Work closely with engineers and architects to provide accurate measurements for construction projects
- Analyze survey data to identify potential issues or discrepancies
- Ensure the accuracy of all measurements by following established protocols
- Adhere to safety procedures while working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements in surveying technology and techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field
- Previous experience as a surveyor or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of land surveying principles and techniques
- Proficiency in using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, etc.
- Strong mathematical abilities for measurement calculations
- Familiarity with computer software used in surveying (e.g. AutoCAD)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with engineers, architects, and other team members.
Salary: $1200 per month.
Location: Esbjerg (own visa required).
