Android Developer (Contract)
Location: Horsens, Denmark


We are seeking an experienced Android developer to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As a contract employee, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to define project specifications and develop user-friendly interfaces
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure application reliability, stability, and performance
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise during development or in production
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Android development using Java or Kotlin
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Familiarity with Firebase platform for mobile application development
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Swift or React Native

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
