Freelance Interpreter in Horsens, Denmark


We are seeking a skilled and experienced interpreter to join our team on a freelance basis in Horsens, Denmark. Our ideal candidate is fluent in at least two languages, with a strong command of Danish and English. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services in various settings such as business meetings, conferences, and medical appointments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate interpretation between Danish and English languages
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Conduct research on specialized terminology to ensure accurate interpretation
- Take notes and provide written translations when needed
- Adapt to different dialects and accents when required
- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth communication flow between parties

Requirements:
- Fluency in Danish and English languages (verbal and written)
- Proven experience as an interpreter in various settings
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to concentrate for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Availability for flexible working hours including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Interpretation or Translation
- Experience working with technical or medical terminology
- Proficiency in additional languages

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
