Part-Time Preservation Architect

Our architectural firm in Horsens is seeking a part-time Preservation Architect to join our team. This role will primarily focus on preservation projects, including restoration, rehabilitation, and adaptive reuse of historic buildings. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of preservation principles and techniques, as well as knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess the condition of historic buildings
- Develop preservation plans and proposals for restoration and rehabilitation projects
- Work with clients to understand their goals and needs for the project
- Collaborate with project team members, including engineers and contractors, to ensure successful completion of preservation projects
- Conduct research on historical architecture styles, materials, and techniques
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in preservation architecture
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations regarding historic buildings
- Excellent design skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Salary will be based on experience level. Please note that this position does not include accommodation.
