Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Horsens. Your primary role will be to assess the condition of these buildings, develop preservation plans, and oversee the restoration process. You will work closely with other architects, engineers, and preservation specialists to ensure that all projects are completed according to historical preservation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local and national preservation guidelines
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and specialists to determine the best restoration methods
- Oversee the restoration process from start to finish
- Ensure that all work is completed within budget and on schedule
- Maintain accurate records of project details and progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in architectural preservation or restoration
- Strong understanding of local and national historical preservation guidelines
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for design and aesthetics
