Head Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry department and creating delicious and visually appealing desserts for our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new and innovative dessert recipes that align with our menu offerings and customer preferences
- Train and supervise pastry staff to ensure consistency in quality and presentation
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Oversee production schedules to ensure timely delivery of desserts for service
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of ingredients, baking techniques, and flavor profiling
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and creativity
- Culinary degree or relevant certification
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this full-time position.
