Junior Android Developer


We are a fast-growing mobile app development company based in Roskilde, seeking a motivated and talented Junior Android Developer to join our team. As a Junior Android Developer, you will work closely with our Senior Developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for Android applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug existing code to improve application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of Java and Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to implement designs accurately
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience developing mobile applications (personal projects or internships)
- Knowledge of Kotlin programming language
- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs and JSON
- Familiarity with Firebase services (Analytics, Authentication, Real-time Database)

Salary: 1600$ per month

Location: Roskilde, Denmark

This is a contract job open to individuals without previous professional experience.
