Database Administrator (Roskilde, Denmark)
A renowned tech company in Roskilde is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join their team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the company's databases, ensuring data security and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all database systems, including troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other teams to design and implement new databases or changes to existing ones
- Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular data audits
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with database security protocols and procedures
- Proficient in SQL programming language
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure)
- Certification in Database Administration (MCSE: Data Management & Analytics)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
This is a contract position with accommodation provided. Visa sponsorship may also be available for non-EU candidates. The salary for this role is competitive at 1200$ per month.
