Job Title: Contract Interpreter (Roskilde, Denmark)


An experienced Contract Interpreter is needed for a short-term assignment in Roskilde, Denmark. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretation services between two or more parties who do not speak the same language. This position requires fluency in English and a second language, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide verbal interpretation during meetings, conferences, and other events.
- Convey the meaning and tone of the speaker's words accurately and objectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Assist with any necessary translation of written documents.
- Act as a cultural liaison between parties to ensure effective communication.
- Adhere to professional standards of conduct and ethics.

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and a second language (preferably Danish).
- Proven experience as an interpreter or related role.
- Excellent listening, speaking, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with using interpretation equipment is preferred but not required.
- Biometric passport is required for this position.

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with an hourly rate of $1500 USD. The duration of the contract will depend on the needs of the project. As this is a remote assignment, you will need to have access to appropriate technology and a stable internet connection. Please note that travel may be required for this role.
