Job Title: Typesetter

We are in need of a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Roskilde. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images to create visually appealing and readable documents. Your attention to detail and knowledge of typography and design principles will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our published materials.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to established styles and design guidelines
- Proofread documents for errors in spelling, grammar, and formatting
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to ensure consistency in layout and style
- Make necessary adjustments to layout based on feedback from team members or clients
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, software updates, and new technologies related to typesetting

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and design principles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Knowledge of different file formats (PDF, HTML) is preferred but not required

Salary: The salary for this full-time position is $1200 per month.
