Architectural Technologist

We are a growing architectural firm in Akron, seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting the design team in creating technical drawings and documentation for construction projects. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with architects and engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of design drawings and construction documents using CAD software
- Conduct site visits and gather measurements and data for projects
- Review building codes and regulations to ensure compliance with local laws
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and consultants to resolve any technical issues or concerns
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working on commercial or institutional projects is a plus
