Office Assistant - Eldoret, Kenya
We are hiring an Office Assistant to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in an office setting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies and order new supplies as needed
- Keep the office clean and organized at all times
- Assist with organizing meetings and events
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry and filing
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus
- Prior experience working in an office environment preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: $900 per month
