Excavator operator vacancy in Roskilde Denmark

Excavator Operator

We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Roskilde. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction projects. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on the equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and graders
- Use hand and foot controls to manipulate the machinery
- Follow project plans and blueprints to accurately excavate and move materials
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as cleaning, lubricating, and refueling
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to avoid accidents or damage to property
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient project completion

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment, specifically excavators
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of excavation techniques and procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in outdoor conditions

Working Hours: This is a part-time position with flexible working hours depending on project schedules.

Salary: $1200 per month.

Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the project.

Visa Sponsorship: We are open to hiring candidates from outside Denmark who have their own valid work visa.

Location: Roskilde, Denmark (preference given to local candidates).
