Floral Designer


As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on floral selections and designs. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of different types of flowers and plants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to discuss their floral needs and preferences
- Create custom floral arrangements based on client requests and event themes
- Source high-quality flowers and plants from local suppliers
- Prepare flowers by cutting stems, removing thorns, and arranging in vases or containers
- Ensure that all arrangements are visually appealing and reflect the client's vision
- Set up floral displays at events and ensure they are maintained throughout the event
- Provide recommendations on flower selection, colors, and styles based on seasonal availability and budget constraints
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in floral design to offer unique and modern designs to clients
- Maintain a clean workspace and proper storage of flowers to ensure freshness
- Handle customer inquiries in a professional manner

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage
- Strong artistic skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, colleagues, and suppliers
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, climb ladders, etc.
- Proficient in using floral design tools such as scissors, wire cutters, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends or irregular hours when needed
Salary: $1400 per month
