Executive Chef at a Fine Dining Restaurant in Roskilde
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant located in the beautiful city of Roskilde. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative and high-quality menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest level of food quality and presentation. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$ per week.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and standards
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring the highest level of quality and presentation
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain open communication with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Ability to create innovative dishes while adhering to menu standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in English (Danish language skills preferred)
