Executive Chef

As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the culinary operations of our high-end restaurant located in Roskilde, Denmark. You will work closely with the management team to develop and execute menu concepts and ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining inventory, managing food costs and budgets, as well as recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen

- Create and maintain inventory lists
- Manage food costs and budgets
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management team to plan special events or promotions

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Ability to create innovative menus while maintaining quality and cost control measures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a culinary setting
- Proficient in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
