Executive Chef
Location: Roskilde, Denmark
The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of our high-end restaurant, located in the charming city of Roskilde. We are seeking a talented and experienced chef to lead our team and create innovative and delicious dishes that will satisfy our discerning clientele. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and exceptional culinary skills, as well as strong leadership abilities. Responsibilities include menu planning, food preparation, staff training and management, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$. A biometric passport is required for this position.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency preferred)
- Biometric passport
Responsibilities:
- Create seasonal menus that showcase creative and innovative dishes using fresh, local ingredients
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality standards are met at all times
- Train new kitchen staff on techniques, recipes, and sanitation guidelines
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food costs to maintain profitability without compromising quality
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service for guests
- Continuously seek ways to improve menu offerings and guest satisfaction
