Hotel Sales Manager
Our four-star hotel in Roskilde is seeking an ambitious and driven Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to attract new customers and maintain relationships with existing ones. You will work closely with the hotel's management team to meet revenue targets and ensure the smooth operation of our sales department.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue
- Identify potential new markets and develop plans to target them
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential customers
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the hotel
- Monitor market trends and analyze data to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. marketing, front desk) to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Coordinate pricing policies, special offers, and packages with revenue management team
- Conduct regular sales meetings with team members to review progress and set goals
- Prepare monthly reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with market research techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
