Junior Database Administrator - Randers, Denmark


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Randers, Denmark. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all databases across our organization. Responsibilities:
- Install and configure new databases as needed
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Work closely with developers to optimize database performance
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with database design principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract type: Full-time position with possibility for visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens.

Location: This position is based in Randers, Denmark. Relocation assistance may be provided if necessary.
