Junior Database Administrator


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Randers, Denmark. As a Junior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Create and maintain database backups and disaster recovery plans
- Optimize database design for maximum performance
- Collaborate with development teams to implement new database features
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing access controls and data encryption techniques
- Provide technical support to end users as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with databases
- Proficient in SQL language and database management systems such as MySQL or Oracle
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
