Industrial Alpinist
As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at great heights, such as building maintenance, repairs, and inspections. You will also be required to work in confined spaces and on challenging terrain. Your main duties will include rigging safety systems, operating specialized equipment, and conducting risk assessments. Additionally, you may need to assist with rope access rescue operations and work with a team to complete projects efficiently and safely.
To be successful in this role, you must have at least two years of experience in industrial alpinism and possess a strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment. You must also have experience with rigging techniques and the ability to operate specialized tools such as ascenders and descenders. A strong physical condition is necessary for this job as it involves working in extreme weather conditions and carrying heavy equipment.
This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You must also have good communication skills as you will be working closely with team members on a regular basis. A willingness to learn new techniques and continuously improve your skills is essential.
