Industrial Alpinist



As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for conducting various industrial activities at heights using specialized rope access techniques. Your primary role will be to assist in the maintenance, installation, and repair of structures and equipment in challenging and hard-to-reach locations. This position requires a high level of physical fitness, technical knowledge, and a strong understanding of safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct rope access operations to perform industrial tasks such as welding, painting, cleaning, and inspection.
- Safely navigate and work at heights using harnesses, ropes, anchors, and other equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself and your team.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to job tasks.
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) or Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT).
- At least 1 year of experience working as an Industrial Alpinist or similar role is preferred.
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to work at heights for extended periods of time.
- Knowledge of rope access techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation is required.
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings is an asset.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have own transportation to travel between job sites.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required.

This position offers a competitive salary of $1800 per month. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for providing your own accommodation. Applicants must have their own visa allowing them to work in Randers.
