Preservation Architect (Part Time)
Location: Randers, Denmark
We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Randers, Denmark on a part-time basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of architectural history.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historical buildings and structures to understand their original design and construction methods
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and conservation standards
- Collaborate with construction teams to oversee the implementation of preservation plans
- Utilize traditional building techniques and materials in restoration projects
- Document all work done on historical structures for future reference
- Assess potential risks and provide solutions for any structural or material issues
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies regarding preservation projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience in preservation architecture
- Extensive knowledge of architectural history, styles, and techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
Salary: 1200$ (based on part-time hours)
