Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Randers. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial aspects of our company. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the management team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff members
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide support for any ad-hoc financial projects or initiatives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- At least 5 years of experience as an Accountant, ideally in a senior role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including US GAAP
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks, SAP)
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.
