Sous Chef at Fine Dining Restaurant in Randers, Denmark
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant in Randers, Denmark. Our ideal candidate is a skilled and creative chef who is able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and maintain the high standards of food quality and presentation that our restaurant is known for.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to all sanitation and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new dishes that meet our restaurant's quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to menu specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent organizational skills
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
