Head Chef at Upscale Restaurant in Randers
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at an upscale restaurant located in the beautiful city of Randers. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You will work closely with the restaurant owner to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and current food trends
- Oversee all food preparation, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Manage inventory and ordering to maintain appropriate levels of ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including assigning tasks and ensuring proper cooking techniques are followed
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu development
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
