Head Chef - Italian Cuisine
Location: Randers, Denmark
Are you a passionate and skilled chef with a love for Italian cuisine? Our restaurant in Randers is seeking a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing authentic and delicious Italian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. You will also be in charge of managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and developing new menu items. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience as a chef, with specific expertise in Italian cuisine. A culinary degree is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per week.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus featuring classic and modern Italian dishes
- Manage inventory and order supplies from approved vendors
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure food quality and safety standards are met
- Monitor kitchen operations to maintain efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop new menu items based on seasonality, availability of ingredients, and customer feedback
- Ensure compliance with all health codes, regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions that feature Italian cuisine
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef, preferably in Italian cuisine
- Proven ability to create innovative and delicious dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Culinary degree preferred but not required
