Head Chef


As a Head Chef at our restaurant in Randers, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes. Your culinary expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. This is a full-time role with a salary of 1500$, and we are looking for a skilled chef who is passionate about food and has experience in managing a kitchen team.

Responsibilities:
- Create menus that are innovative, versatile, and meet the dietary requirements of our guests
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
- Monitor inventory levels and control food costs to ensure profitability
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and improve existing ones
- Maintain equipment, stock, and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Participate in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations of kitchen staff

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
- Creative flair in developing new dishes while adhering to budget constraints
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or relevant certification

Preferred:
- Experience working with Nordic cuisine
- Knowledge of Danish cuisine
- Danish citizenship or permanent residency
