Head Pastry Chef


A renowned restaurant in Randers is seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of delicious desserts and pastries that will delight our customers. You will also oversee the pastry department, mentor and train junior pastry chefs, and ensure that all food items are prepared to the highest quality standards.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Expertise in creating unique and visually appealing desserts and pastries
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Creativity and passion for pastry making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field

Responsibilities:
- Create new dessert menus that are both innovative and appealing to customers
- Oversee the production of all pastries, ensuring they are made to the highest quality standards
- Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques, recipes, and food safety procedures
- Manage inventory levels for all pastry ingredients and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus that complement each other
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into dessert creations

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month based on experience.
