Land Surveyor
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Randers, Denmark. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine the exact boundaries and relative positions of properties and other features on the land. This is a full-time position with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS, total stations, and levels
- Analyze survey data, maps, deeds, and legal documents to establish property boundaries
- Prepare detailed reports and drawings of survey results
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Manage survey crew and ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
- Research historical records and physical evidence to verify existing property lines
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate placement of structures on the land
- Keep abreast of industry advancements in technology, regulations, and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficient in using surveying equipment and software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Requirements:
- Professional Land Surveyor license (PLS)
- Experience in land development or construction projects
- Familiarity with Danish land laws, regulations, and standards
- Fluency in Danish or another Scandinavian language
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
