Mason (Contract Position)

Location: Randers, Denmark

Salary: 1700 USD/month

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team on a contract basis in Randers, Denmark. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and other surfaces using materials such as brick, stone, and concrete. Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine the layout of masonry work
- Measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions
- Lay bricks or other materials to build or repair walls, chimneys, arches, and other structures
- Spread mortar between bricks or other materials to hold them together
- Smooth out mortar joints using trowels or other tools
- Use specialized tools such as levels and plumb lines to ensure accuracy and alignment of structures
- Repair cracks or damage in existing masonry work
- Clean excess mortar from surfaces after completion of work

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Knowledge of various masonry techniques and materials including brick, stone, concrete, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints or drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and precision in work
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise

Education/Experience:

- High school diploma/GED required; vocational training in masonry preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Mason in the construction industry

Working Conditions:

This is a contract position based in Randers, Denmark. The successful candidate must have their own valid visa for working in Denmark. This position is suitable for both students and individuals seeking full-time work. The working hours for this position may vary depending on project deadlines and weather conditions.
