Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel in Randers. You will develop and implement strategic sales plans to attract new business and maintain relationships with existing clients. Your main goal will be to increase occupancy rates and revenue through effective sales techniques and excellent customer service. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong sales skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and negotiate contracts for repeat business
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to adjust strategies accordingly
- Conduct site tours, presentations, and participate in trade shows to promote the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. marketing, events) to create promotional packages and enhance guest experience
- Ensure accurate record keeping of sales activities, including client information, contracts, and revenue reports
- Train and supervise the hotel's sales team to ensure they meet their individual targets
- Provide regular reports on performance metrics (e.g. occupancy rates, revenue) to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of market trends and competitors' strategies
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English (additional language skills are an advantage)
- Must have own visa or be eligible to work in Randers
Salary: 1200$ per month
