Interpreter for International Events in Odense, Denmark



As an Interpreter for International Events in Odense, Denmark, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals or groups who speak different languages. Your main role will be to provide accurate and timely interpretation to ensure effective communication during international events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret speeches, conversations, and other forms of communication from one language to another
- Act as a liaison between event participants who speak different languages
- Convey tone and cultural nuances accurately in interpretation
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Maintain knowledge of industry-specific terminology and jargon
- Collaborate with event organizers to ensure smooth communication flow
- Utilize interpretation equipment and technology effectively
- Provide support for any necessary translations or documentations

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (preferably Danish)
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent listening and note-taking skills
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and sensitivities
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interpretation, Translation, Linguistics or related field preferred
- Previous experience as an interpreter is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with interpretation equipment and technology
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific terminology

Salary:
Starting salary is 1300$ per month. Compensation may vary based on qualifications and experience.
