Finisher for Furniture Manufacturing Company in Odense, Denmark


We are a furniture manufacturing company based in Odense, Denmark, seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in furniture finishing, although we are willing to train the right individual.

As a Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes such as paint, stain, or varnish to furniture pieces according to specifications. This includes sanding and preparing surfaces, mixing and applying finishes, and ensuring a smooth and consistent finish. Attention to detail is crucial in this role as you will be responsible for achieving the desired look and quality of our products.

The salary for this position is 1600$ per month. While experience is preferred, we are also open to candidates without experience who are eager to learn and have a strong work ethic. We also offer accommodation for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and filling imperfections
- Mix paints, stains, or varnishes according to specifications
- Apply finishes using various tools such as brushes or spray guns
- Ensure proper coverage and consistency of finish
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner
- Communicate with other team members regarding production schedules and deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in furniture finishing preferred
- Knowledge of different types of finishes and their application techniques
- Ability to use hand tools such as sanders effectively
- Detail-oriented with an eye for quality assurance
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients/determining ratios
