Concrete Worker

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Concrete Worker to join our team in Odense. As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining concrete structures such as buildings, roads, bridges, and sidewalks. Your duties will include mixing and pouring concrete, using various tools and equipment to shape and smooth surfaces, and ensuring that the concrete sets properly.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of concrete properties and be able to work with precision and attention to detail. You must also be physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks. Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction site by setting up scaffolding and removing debris
- Measure and mark layout for concrete forms
- Mix concrete according to specifications
- Pour concrete into forms using various techniques
- Smooth surfaces using trowels or screeds
- Finish surfaces using power tools or hand tools
- Install reinforcement materials such as rebar or wire mesh
- Check for proper leveling and alignment of forms
- Repair damaged surfaces using patching compounds or other materials
- Follow safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Concrete Worker or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of concrete mixtures and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Own transportation is preferred
