A well-established restaurant in Odense is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team on a contract basis. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant operations, including managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards for food quality and service.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all front and back of house staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Create schedules that effectively utilize staff to meet business needs while controlling labor costs
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss performance goals and provide feedback
- Collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items or specials
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Danish proficiency is a plus)
- Knowledge of restaurant software (e.g. POS systems)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations
- High school diploma; degree in hospitality management or relevant field is preferred
