Head Baker
As a Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery in Odense. Your main role will be to lead and manage a team of bakers, ensuring that all baked goods are of the highest quality and produced in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for creating new recipes, ordering supplies, maintaining inventory levels, and managing the budget for the bakery.
Your duties as a Head Baker will include but are not limited to:
- Leading and managing a team of bakers, delegating tasks and ensuring that all team members are working efficiently
- Creating new recipes and developing new products to keep up with current trends and customer preferences
- Maintaining high quality standards for all baked goods produced in the bakery
- Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed at all times
- Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Working within budget constraints to ensure profitability of the bakery
- Training new staff members on baking techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a professional baker
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead and manage a team
- Biometric passport or eligibility to work in Denmark
