Contract Web Developer - Kolding, Denmark

As a Contract Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites according to client specifications. You will collaborate with a team of designers and developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the website's technical functionality and performance, as well as implementing responsive design for mobile and tablet devices.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and coding websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web development tools
- Collaborating with designers to ensure the visual elements are implemented correctly
- Ensuring cross-browser compatibility for all developed websites
- Optimizing website performance for fast loading times
- Developing and maintaining custom plugins or themes for content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal
- Conducting website testing to identify any technical issues or bugs
- Keeping up-to-date with new web development technologies and trends

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and other programming languages
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal
- Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Fluency in Danish is a plus

Salary: 900$ per week (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Kolding, Denmark (onsite work)
Employment Type: Contract (with possibility of extension)
