Senior Computer Research Scientist

Position Overview:
Our growing research team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Computer Research Scientist to join our dynamic organization in Kolding. As a Senior Computer Research Scientist, you will be responsible for leading and conducting innovative research projects in the field of computer science. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, extensive experience in research and development, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct cutting-edge research projects in computer science, with a focus on developing new technologies and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research objectives, design experiments, and analyze data.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the field of computer science.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
- Mentor junior researchers and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Help secure funding for research projects through grant proposals or partnerships.

Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting research and development projects.
- Strong programming skills (Python, Java, C++, etc.) and experience working with large datasets.
- Extensive knowledge of algorithms, machine learning, data mining, and/or natural language processing.
- Proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences or journals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with biometric data or biometric systems.
- Familiarity with deep learning techniques.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, SAS, etc.).
- Prior experience mentoring junior researchers.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at 1400$ per month. Relocation assistance may be provided for candidates outside of Kolding.

This position requires a valid biometric passport for international travel. Accommodation can also be arranged for out-of-town candidates.
