Android Developer

We are a rapidly growing mobile app development company in Kolding seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications for the Android platform. Your primary focus will be creating high-quality, user-friendly and efficient code while working closely with our design and product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in native Android development
- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and Android SDK
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
- Understanding of Google's Material Design principles and interface guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile development methodology
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript)
- Knowledge of third-party libraries such as Retrofit, Realm or Dagger2
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: $1300 per month (with accommodation)
