Junior Game Developer



We are in search of a talented and passionate Junior Game Developer to join our growing team in Kolding, Denmark. As a member of our game development team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and debugging games for various platforms including mobile, web, and PC.

In this role, you will work closely with senior developers and designers to bring creative ideas to life. Your responsibilities will include writing efficient and maintainable code, implementing game mechanics and features, as well as troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during the development process.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of game design principles and experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal. You should also be familiar with programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java. Attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also essential qualities for this position.

Responsibilities:

- Designing and developing games for various platforms
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Implementing game mechanics and features based on design specifications
- Troubleshooting technical issues during the development process
- Collaborating with senior developers and designers to bring creative ideas to life
- Staying updated on the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of experience in game development
- Strong knowledge of game design principles
- Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality games
