Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Kolding. Your role will be to analyze the condition of these buildings, develop preservation plans, and oversee the restoration process. You will work closely with engineers, contractors, and government officials to ensure that preservation projects are carried out in accordance with historical preservation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings to determine their condition
- Developing preservation plans that adhere to local and national historic preservation standards
- Collaborating with engineers and contractors to implement restoration projects
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from government agencies
- Inspecting work progress and ensuring compliance with plans and regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of project timelines, costs, and materials used
- Providing recommendations for ongoing maintenance of preserved buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience in historical preservation, preferably in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of historic preservation principles, techniques, and materials
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough research
- Familiarity with relevant local and national preservation guidelines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural software

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on qualifications)

City: Kolding (preference for candidates residing in or willing to relocate)
