Head Chef - Kolding, Denmark
We are a fine dining restaurant located in the beautiful city of Kolding, Denmark. Our restaurant is known for its innovative and delicious dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team.
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen. This includes creating new menu items, developing recipes, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met. You will also be responsible for training and supervising kitchen staff, as well as creating schedules and managing budgets.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working as a Chef in a high-end restaurant. You must have exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating unique and flavorful dishes. Strong leadership skills are also essential to effectively manage and motivate our kitchen team.
In addition to your culinary expertise, you must also have strong organizational skills to manage inventory, plan menus, and create schedules. Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring that all food is prepared to our high standards.
As our restaurant focuses on using locally sourced ingredients, knowledge of Danish cuisine and familiarity with local suppliers would be an advantage.
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month. The working hours will vary depending on business needs but will include weekends and evenings.
