Contract Carpenter in Kolding, Denmark

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in Kolding, Denmark. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing building frameworks and structures such as stairways, doorframes, partitions, and rafters. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting wood, installing structures and fixtures, and following blueprints and building plans. The ideal candidate will have experience with both rough and finish carpentry work and possess strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut wood according to specifications provided by blueprints or building plans
- Build or repair structures such as stairways, doorframes, partitions, rafters, etc.
- Install structures and fixtures including windows, molding, trim, cabinets, etc.
- Inspect existing structures for damage or defects and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with both rough and finish work
- Proficient in using hand tools (saws, hammers) as well as power tools (drills)
- Good understanding of construction materials and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans
- Excellent math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if necessary
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
