Junior Back-End Developer


We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Vejle, Denmark. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications and databases for our web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with our front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python or JavaScript, as well as experience with back-end technologies like Node.js and SQL databases. This is a contract position with no accommodation provided, so candidates must hold their own valid work visa for Denmark.

Salary: 1800$ per month

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain server-side applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Write efficient code to ensure system scalability and performance
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Ensure security and data protection measures are implemented
- Constantly monitor system performance and make necessary improvements
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python or JavaScript
- Experience working with back-end technologies like Node.js
- Familiarity with SQL databases
- Knowledge of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and AWS services
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
