Interpreter (English-Danish)


We are seeking a professional English-Danish Interpreter to join our team in Vejle. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and reliable interpretation services for clients in various settings, including business meetings, conferences, and medical appointments. This role requires fluency in both English and Danish, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services from English to Danish and vice versa
- Accurately convey the meaning and tone of the speaker's words
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality at all times
- Prepare for assignments by studying relevant terminology and materials
- Act as a cultural liaison between English-speaking clients and Danish-speaking individuals or organizations
- Facilitate effective communication between parties with language barriers
- Record notes or transcripts of interpreted conversations if required

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Danish is mandatory
- Proven experience as an interpreter or related role is preferred but not required
- Excellent oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas accurately
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and think quickly on your feet
- Professional demeanor with strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work irregular hours or travel when needed

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1300$ per month with opportunities for growth within our organization.

Location:
This position is located in Vejle, Denmark.
