Skilled Metal Worker

As a skilled metal worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal parts and structures in our workshop located in Vejle. You will work with various types of metal including steel, aluminum, and copper, using different tools such as saws, drills, and welding equipment. Your main duties will include reading blueprints or other technical drawings to determine specifications, measuring and marking materials for cutting or shaping, operating machinery to cut or bend metal, and welding or soldering pieces together. You may also be required to grind or sand down rough spots on metal surfaces to ensure a smooth finish.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a metal worker and possess strong knowledge of different types of metals and their properties. You must also have excellent math skills to accurately measure materials and calculate dimensions. Attention to detail is crucial in this role as you will be working with precise measurements. Physical strength is also important as you may need to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. However, the ability to work weekends or overtime may be required during busy periods. Please note that this position does not include accommodation.
