Seasonal Executive Chef in Vejle, Denmark
We are hiring a seasonal Executive Chef to join our team in Vejle, Denmark. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires creativity, leadership, and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus for different seasons using fresh, local ingredients
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet our standards
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Handle any guest complaints or special requests related to food
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Creative approach to menu planning with knowledge of seasonal ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
