Executive Chef - Seasonal Position in Vejle, Denmark
As an Executive Chef, you will oversee the culinary operations of our seasonal restaurant in Vejle, Denmark. You will be responsible for creating and executing menu plans, managing food costs and inventory, and ensuring top-quality dishes are consistently served to our guests. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced chef who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative menu items that showcase local ingredients
- Manage food costs and inventory to ensure profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and sanitation standards
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to company standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promotions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen
- Adhere to all food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree from an accredited institution preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on Danish cuisine
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Proficient in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel
