Head Chef
As a Head Chef at our restaurant in Vejle, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and creating delicious, high-quality dishes. Our ideal candidate is a skilled and experienced chef with a passion for food and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed
- Control inventory levels and purchase ingredients within budget
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service
- Keep up-to-date with culinary trends and introduce new dishes to the menu
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary trends
- Ability to create unique, creative dishes while also maintaining consistency in taste and presentation
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Up-to-date food safety training/certification
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month, depending on experience.
